With this ink to digital illustration, I simply wanted to capture the beauty of a female deer, playing up her femininity with long eyelashes, and a bow around her neck. I also created this illustration with the intention of multiple surface design applications.

An identity system I created for my friend and cupcake baking extraordinaire. The company name plays off the owner’s last name. Let’s face it, cupcakes are a cute business, so I played up the cute factor in the logo with a bold cupcake image, playful script and fun color palette. Included in the identity system is a logo, cupcake menu and business card.
An illustration created for a Whole Foods contest for a reusable towel giveaway. The idea behind the Mason jar was it’s symbolic nature of being used “at home” or “locally”. The hands also symbolize the individual, as in the farmer or the local consumer. An Earthy and limited color palette was utilized to further emphasize the natural feel.

Detroit Gig Poster – A gig poster for the psychedelic rock band, Tame Impala. Inspired by the psychedelic, reverberating line work posters of the 1960’s and 70’s. The artwork on the band’s Lonerism LP led me to use the rusty orange and warm brown color palette.
